For the Birds

I took these pictures in the morning before going to work. The feeder in the tree, and all the bird seed that seems to fall to the ground. I noticed that when looking at the bird seed on the ground it seems to have lots of details. Up close seems to show all the seeds singled out. I starting to have fun with the different settings that I have found on this camera.

  1. Lori, You are lucky to get birds at your house. We have been trying for years and none come.

I really like them both as it is a typically winter scene at most homes in Vermont in the winter. To bad that the birds were not around to also be caught in your photo.

  2. I really like the detail in the 2nd photo. It really shows the texture of the seeds. Very interesting. Too bad their wasn't any birds in the photo

  3. I have gotten a few pictures of Cardinals at the feeder. It is hard as when I see them I have to carefully open the door without the birds hearing the noise and flying away.

  4. I like in the second shot that all of the seed is taking up the whole picture, but is most concentrated in the middle

  5. I like the second picture as well. The perspective is very different. Good work!

  6. Actually the best part for me is how these shots "go" together...the feeder on top and seed below. Nice juxtaposition...
